Why Wellbeing?

Everyone’s talking about it these days. But is it just a passing trend, a flash-in-the-pan? I thought it was important enough to use in my business name. I changed 3C Fitness to 3C Wellbeing when I realised that ‘fitness’ no longer fully represented my services. Fitness is just a small part of wellbeing. Yes, you can achieve physical fitness without wellbeing – but is there any point? To feel balanced, at one’s best, energised – to feel well – we all need wellbeing. It’s a concept that encompasses – crucially – mental as well as physical wellness. Good nutrition, a work-life balance, time out in nature, friendships, enough sleep and exercise – these are all ingredients that contribute to our physical, mental, spiritual, emotional and psychological wellbeing. As a keen meditator, with an interest in Buddhism, outdoor swimming, and in living as true to my authentic self as possible, I find that I’m at a point in life where my wellbeing matters – a lot. I need it in order to function properly. Don’t we all? It may be a fashionable concept, but thank goodness we are paying more attention to it nowadays! In this website I hope that you will find, at the very least, a spark of inspiration or an idea that will help you enhance your wellbeing.
